Artist's Comments

A little over 10 years ago my brother (who was only 2 years older than me) died in a car accident. I go to visit his grave often, and I was there today.

As I was leaving I passed through the older section of the graveyard...and I noticed this one. Forgotten.
There were a few others the same way. Their grave stones sticking out of large trees. Some fallen over or broken. No flowers. All forgotten.

I always get an eerie feeling when I go through that section.

Amazing shot! Even better subject! I love the color-correction, or the desaturation rather. Perfect.

This is wonderful, bren. Made me tear jerk...the picture, the meaning. It makes me wonder what happened to that person lying under there. You know, all of those things. Such a great photo..I agree with purcell -- the desaturation is a nice addition. So clear..great border and font, but the 'O' looks as if it needs spaced one more time from the 'G'. :) (Smile)

These kind photos I really enjoy... they are rare. You cannot find these in the sky or city... they just appear and all we need is to find these with camera. I really enjoy this.
It makes me think bunch of things.
